According to reports, Indy Car driver and GoDaddy.com sex symbol, Danica Patrick is planning to make for greener pastures by joining the NASCAR circuit full-time. Sources report that Patrick's management team is busy finalizing a deal that would add her to the full Nationwide Series in 2012 with a few Sprint Cup races sprinkled in here and there. ESPN reports that Patrick would then become a fulltime NASCAR driver in 2013 when the circuit debuts its next generation series car.

ESPN reports that the petite brunette will bring along her current Indy Car and Nationwide Series sponsor, GoDaddy.com when her current contracts with Andretti Autosport in Indy Car and JR Motorsports in NASCAR expire at the end of this season.

An average driver at best, Patrick is best known for donning sparse clothing in GoDaddy.com television advertisements. Represented by IMG, one of the largest sports agencies in the world, Patrick has gathered a considerable following of drooling men and estrogen-fueled feminists; however, little of her startling popularity has had much to do with her actual talent.

An attractive 5'2" and 121 lbs., Patrick has often seemed more interested in acting, modeling and maintaining her over-blown image than making a serious effort at competing with her male counterparts. At age 29, her accomplishments pale when compared to other comparable male drivers; and, according to NASCAR Sprint Cup owner/driver Robby Gordon, her few accomplishments are likely owed to her comparatively low body weight which he claims provides her with an unfair advantage due to the inverse proportionality of the combined mass of a car and its driver, and its maximum velocity.

Though many will be eager to see Patrick trade paint with Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart, Jimmie Johnson and other greats of the NASCAR circuit, savvy racing fans recognize the endeavor for what it really is: a mad dash at publicity by an average driver with an attractive physique.
